On July 7, 2019, award-winning journalist Dave Ogle collapsed from sudden cardiac arrest while sitting on the couch next to his wife, fellow journalist Kris Patrow.

With no warning and only seconds to act, Kris performed CPR for nearly 10 minutes before emergency responders arrived.

Dave was clinically dead.
